What is the 1979 SC Targa Value?
Hello,
I need for my State Farm Insurance a third party appraisal for my 1979 SC Targa. It has only 50,000 original miles on it and is in excellent condition. I want to insure it for $25,000. I live in the Los Angeles area. Any suggestions? |

Nobody out there who can recommend an appraiser in the Los Angeles area for collectibles insurance purposes?

PCA has a valuation service available to members. Alternatively, you could consider an agreed value policy with an insurer like Hagerty, Leland or one of the other classic car insurers. If all else fails, AIR occasionally provides appraisals for clients, but our value expertise is more with early cars.

If the car is not a daily driver cross shop Hagerty or one of the other classic car insurers. Annual premiums are about $250 per year. That's got to be cheaper than State Farm.
