What is my car worth?

What is my car worth?

Well I am thinking about selling my P-Car since it has been sitting in storage for so long with me living 400 miles away from it.

It is a 1971 911T Targa. Mechanically sound 10 out of 10, the motor was rebuilt in a 7R case to “S” Spec’s it has new PMO carbs and manifolds. The body is probably 7 out of 10 – a few door dings but no major rust. The paint is old but still looks nice. The interior is a bit rough, it shows its age but everything is functional window cranks et al.

I am looking for photos.
just asking for a rough estimate… so what say you?

How long the car has been sitting may influence the price...
So, how long?

Its been in storage for the past 5 years. I drive it every time I go back home (Nebraska) which is 3 or 4 times a year.

If you NEED to get rid of it then go for it, but in my opinion if you dont need to dont, these early cars have been only goin higher and higher in value who knows what the market may be in 5-10 years

that's a little on the high side. The car would need to be in pretty good shape both mechanically and cosmetically to fetch that kind of $$$.

Without any further information or photos you're probably looking @ somewhere between $15-$20K.

Sales value is going to depend on all the usual factors.
Rust
Paint
Interior
DOCUMENTATION on the engine build, who did the build etc

Post some photos so we can speculate even more wildly
