Value on an OK condition 993 TT?
I have my eye on a 96 993 Twin Turbo - It's a bit rough though.
No accidnets, but has been repainted, but not to a high standard - some overspray, chips, etc The interior is a bit rough as well - the seat backs have scratches from stuff in the back seat or kids kicking them. Mechanically, the car is in nice shape - good engine #'s, good transaxle and newer front diff. My thought would be to turn it into a track car, so the comsmetics don't really matter to me all that much. So.... What's a fair price? Thanks Andrew M |
There was one in British Columbia a year ago, very similar to your description with approx. 120km on it. The asking price was 49,000

Just my opinion, but a 993TT wouldn't be my first choice as a track car. Pretty expensive car to maintain and real expensive to fix.
I wouldn't give 49 for what you described. But if you have 49 to spend, i'd say find an '04 GT3 . Now that's a nice track car. |
I think values on 993TT have firmed up a bit over the last year. Asking prices have certainly increased, although I'm not sure how much actually gets sold. My sense is that a car like you describe is probably a low 40's car as long as it is mechanically sound and there are no major accident history. It is unusual to find one in "beater" status like you describe. I know that some might consider it heresy, but if you ask me, the 996TT is a much better value today. High mileage examples have been trading in the mid-20's.
