1991 Carrera 2 What is it Worth

Carrera 2 Engine rebuilt at 40,000 miles currently has 70,000 miles. Runs starts and stops well - what is it worth? No rust issues. I have a chance to buy at 12,500

Agreed, if it's not a basket case as far as condition it is worth quite a bit more than that. You will need to post more details and some photos for a better valuation.

Coupe? Targa? Cab? C2? C4? Certainly sounds like its worth a $12,5K gamble as most 964s you see in the classifieds are $18-30K depending on year/model/condition.

Yes. PPI or you're rolling the dice.

40k is low miles to need engine work, should go 100k+. And $12.5 is dirt cheap, so the skeptic in me is thinking buyer beware.....
