1974 911 Coupe with 3.2-value?
I have a '74 911 Coupe (not "S") with an '84 3.2 engine that was rebuilt 6k miles ago that I am thinking of letting go to concentrate on a longnose. The car has SC flares and rear SC bumperettes. It is black with a fantastic original red interior. Working AC. The only rust I can see is on both front fenders along the rockers. I have donor pieces for both sides. The car was unfortunately keyed a few months ago and will need to be repainted. It is black with a red interior. Has 6x15 and 8x15 Fuchs. I have records dating back to the '90s. Flares were put on in the '90 to accommodate the 8's in the back. Drives great. Should I sell as is or should I paint it and then sell it? What do you all think it is worth without a repaint or after a repaint? These pics were taken before it got keyed. I have since purchased the correct side mirrors for the car. [IMG]

IMO, a poor quality repaint won't add to the value and a high quality repaint will not return the additional investment. Clean it up, sell it as is.
