Floormats---can you believe Ruf's prices
 

Wow...
So I've been looking for a nice set of floor mats, but I've got a strange carpet color to match. It's a '77 911 w/ a dark, burnt orangey yellow w/ a hint on red (I forget the real P-name) Anyway. I emailed RUF about floormats (pretty much just to see how much they were in comparison) and was I suprised. Can you believe that they charge $$$$237 for just fronts. And all they have is black for a '77.
Anyway, any other guys out there w/ this color carpet find a good matching floor mat? I ike the auth. Porsche ones out there now, but the color selection is a shade in between them. Any advice on the perfect floor mats?

Ruf obviously knows that PT Barnum was right. Hell, I'm still running the old coco mats I got back in the '70's...won 'em as a door prize at a PCA function.

the RUF floormats are very high quality and also very lightweight.I had a pair I let go with a car.I am about to buy another pair for my new car.

At Weissach last year, you could get a RUF towel for $110. I'll stay wet thanks.....

I just bought a set of floor mats in brown to match my '84's interior. I paid over $200 for the front pair. However, they match perfectly.

So, I'm nuts too, but my floor mats look like the originals did 23 years ago...

Pay up for the Ruf mats if they match. It's worth it if you value matching carpets.

You may want to check with Autos International as well. They seem to do a lot of 911 interiors and may have carpet that matches for less bucks...

I just ordered a pair of RUFs for my '84.$300 coming from Germany.

You guys are paying way too much, I can put you in touch with the person I bought mine from. I don't want to get anyone in trouble by posting here PM me for details.

I don't even use floor mats......
