1972 911 T targa Ca.car no rust NO RESERVE !!!! A very nice preserved 911 approximately 4 years ago previous owner spent five thousand dollars on repaint with glass removed and much of the rubber and weather strip replaced and has been driven less than five thousand miles since then, always garaged kept this car shows absolutely no evidence of accident repair ever as rust free as you will ever find / engine fries right up idles smooth and quiet runs out to the red line as it should / trans shifts smooth through all the gears no evidence of synco wear or Bering noise / brakes are right up to the top car stops straight / clutch operates with a good feel as well / this 911 gives all indications of a well cared for garage kept pampered un abused survivor / things that will need attention to bring this car up to top standard, tires are flat spotted from sitting, there is a oil leak rear main seal ? leaves a shot glass sized puddle after parked for a week or so and another tiny oil leak from driver side valve cover ?, shifter feels sloppy some worn bushings but again trans shifts excellent, some rocker trim, fog lamps, wiper arms and wheel trim was never installed after paint but have all of these items, the AC was removed and never reinstalled have these items as well but missing the under dash unit, there is one quarter sized scratch in drivers door but have paint label from the repaint for touch up paint match ( door jam code reads 925-9 3 ) / im more than confident this Porsche will jump though all the hoops of a discriminating collector after all it is nearly 40 years old / I have 60 comprehensive photos in all, please just ask for me to email them to you they will answer most questions / can help with shipping world wide I can deliver to local shipper within 100 miles of here for $200 extra (cal shipping or able cargo ) I have a clear Ca title in my name in hand / car sold as is / I am a ebay member of 10 years my feedback speaks for its self, its far and few between when cars of this high caliber become available this is a NO RESERVE auction bid with integrity and confidence bid to own / terms of sale $500 pay pal deposit due within 24 hours of auction end / payment in full due within 7 days of auction end no exceptions thanks for looking

My take:
As a bare minimum, these are the the things that need to be taken care of in order to bring the car back up to par:
- muffler: $500
- mirrors l/r (repro): $150
- carpet: $560
- interior door panels (to cover speaker cutouts): ???
- headrests: $300 (? if avail)
- new tires: $400
- fix major oil leaks: ???

According to the seller, the car has no documentation (repairs, maintenance,...). Chain tensioner has been upgraded.

What do you guys think of the current price ($19k at the time of posting)? Could be a nice winter project, as long as the engine and tranny are in ok shape (only a PPI will tell, I know).
