Porsche 914 1973 2.0 value?

I am interested in selling this 1973 porsche 914 2.0 but need to check the experts opinions on market value. The car is very original chrome bumpers, Fog lights, Sway bars front and rear, Center console, 2.0 injected motor, original paint, five fuchs no rash, Factory Blaupunkt radio, Factory tool kit, Owners manual, original blue plates, Factory jack. The car is solid perfect pan no rust nice bumper rubber tops with beautiful chrome. This is a two owner car I welcome your opinions.

Thanks

I would give you 5k cash right now for it - however it's really worth over double that

Beautiful car.
As a buyer, I would gladly pay $10k for that car.
As a seller, I would try to get around $12k or more.
Maybe let the eBay gods decide?
Or post on 914world to get the "expert" opinions?

Does it run/drive, being on a trailer in front of long term storage is not a good sign...

IMO, it needs everything, paint/interior/mechanical to bring over 10k... I see a lot of "needs" in the pics provided. Of course proper paint will put you over that before you start...

If it does run drive 5k would ok, depending on how the longs and hell hole looked. If it's barn fresh, I would take 5k and run as a seller...

Mikeferg the car runs and drives solid no leaks knocks etc. The car is a beautiful example of a rust free car some surface rust but very solid. Your opinion is appreciated.

OK runs and drives is good.

Hell hole pics, longs pics, ect will tell the rust story.

Nice car that needs to be taken to the next level.

They have gone backwards just like the longhoods in the last year...

Location matters too.. In the Northeast, $8-10K could be commanded. In sunny california, maybe less since the supply is greater.

As mike mentions, show us the usual suspects - longs, battery box etc. interior has some rips, interior carpets look worn.. still have the shelf for the front trunk?

Looks like a beauty. I presume you have the carpets for the front/rear boots. You certainly won't have problems getting interest in the car. 73 is said to be the best year for the 2.0.

I have a 74 2.0 so I might argue that, nevertheless, it's a desirable year. Mine is damn near perfect and stock with the exception that it has a 911 burgundy color from the early 70's. For the fun of it I put it on ebay with a high reserve. It was bid to $6200, well below the reserve.

These cars are reported to be worth well over ten grand but I haven't seen that kind of action. Even Excellence magazine claims market value in the 5-figure range but I just don't see it in the real world. Yours is a remarkable car so don't let someone steal it from you.
