early 84 944 with automatic trans, whats it worth whole or in parts?
ran into a decent looking 84 944 with auto trans today. i dropped him off a fuel pump today so it should be running tomorrow. brown interior, 1 piece bbs rims, tires rotted, cracked rear tail lense. whats it worth whole and running or parted out? any ideas, anyone? thanks for any input.!!
pics avail tomorrow but heres a wheel pic. are the wheels worth more than the car? laughing... ![]() |

If you part out the car, you'll get 4-5 times more money out of it than you'll get for the whole car. It's just a question of whether you've got 40 or 50 hours to put into parting it out and how much is your time worth? And expect it to take 6 months to a year to make most of that money. The big items will go fairly quickly, and you'll have 1000 people looking for random switches and trim pieces that they won't pay more the $5-10 for. Not seeing more pictures of the car, I can't even begin to value it. I've got to see interior shots and paint and stuff. Could be a $500 car. Could be a $1500 car.
