Crap. Meant to post in OT.

Oh well. If anyone needs a picture of what their restoration should look like, this is the car to look at.

Perfect definition of an anal owner, and I mean that respectfully. Love the WA plate.

Even at $90k, probably cheaper than a concours resto. Someone should download these pics for safekeeping in case anyone is planning a concours restoration! A real time capsule. But, agree with 1990C4S - wouldn't pay that myself for a green SC - just not my thing. I could see it going at half that price for a collection. As a market check, Sloan cars has a 1981 blk/blk SC Targa with 15k miles for $49k, and he's usually on the higher side of the range price-wise.

For that kind of money you think they would have fixed that tweaked trunk lid!

Sure its a fine car, be afraid to drive it though. Absolutely no fun potential here that I see.

There are three receipts for alignments in the first 8,000 miles!

Jeez, how many curbs can a guy hit!

Pretty sure this idiot. . . uh, nice discerning guy doesn't really want to sell it. "See, honey, no one made an offer."

With my '78 it took at least that many alignment tries before the car would track in a benign way rather than totally exhausting me in a drive to Portland.

Apparently the factory default alignment specs are for the track, making the steering too "darty" for casual roadway driving.

Have never seen a lower mile SC offered for sale. Opening bid is a tad optimistic IMO.

According to the EPA window tag gasoline was 70 cents a gallon in 1979...
Ah the good old days!
