Get a PPI even in remote areas
 

We bought a 993 from a dealer in Sweet Home, OR. I inspected it myself since there were no shops locally. Aside from the poor paint work and engine oil leaks I saw nothing else wrong. Turned out they recharged the A/C to cover up a leaking evaporator core which us another couple of grand to repair. PM if you want to know the dealer as well. Good luck out there.
