feedback on 75 911 s ..

Hello folks.
I am going to put my 75 911 widebody on the market.
Understand that mids arn't as collectable as early's or demand the same as something newer.

My rig is a cool vehicle and perhaps the biggest plus is that it is the last (newest) year that is CA smog exempt.

Looking for some value input.

she does not have a porsche VIN .. it carries a Tn VIN . never sure of why ..
Could be a franken, or a past "other issue "

That said ... a 2.7. as original , now with Webbers. . the suspension and brakes are all 930 parts.
your feedback on what is good and a sale-able plus . maybe discussion of actual value is what I am after,

While I think that the mid-year cars are becoming much more desirable, and good #2 condition cars can bring $12k-$13k, a couple of issue that might limit your car to less than that are the VIN, the non-original body configuration, non-original wheels and color (red is surprisingly unpopular these days).

Title & PPI

That is a great looking car. In your shoes, I would spend some time sorting out the title issue and have a trusted shop do a pre-PPI. Then address the issues that get pointed out. There is always going to be someone looking for a car like yours. If you can show your PPI and that you addressed the concerns, you may garner the attention of folks outside of your city/state and get top dollar. Or just put it on eBay and grit your teeth for a messy transaction. Best of luck.

Good advice on the PPI - The engine firewall appears to be pre 1972
