Value of running 2.4L/Webbers

Hi -

I'm trying to estimate a value for a 2.4L, originally from a 1973 "T" with MFI, now with Webbers.

Good runner, good compression and leak-down. This is my engine, and another party wants this engine as part of a trade - I have no idea what it might be worth.

Thanks,

Patrick

With good oil pressure, I'd venture $3.5K is a good starting point.

Thanks - I stupidly neglected to say that heat exchangers, exhaust and engine tin are included. Does that affect the value estimate?

I assumed complete, so, not necessarily. If there's a Carrera tensioner upgrade, that could add a bit.

Where the engine could be worth more is the remote possibility that the owner of the original chassis finds it...
