1972 911 s

Build Date 9th Nov 1971, 911 2.4 S

Chassis Number :9112300199
Engine Number is : 6360196
915 Gearbox Number :3410137

Originally delivered to Austria, Signal Yellow option code 7272 is confirmed by the Porsche Certificate of authenticity.

Although much of the early years of documentation for this car are missing, the documented history begins in 1996 when the car was owned by French enthusiast who lived on the shores of Lake Geneva. This receipt details work to the front suspension anti roll bar. In 1998 the owner spent a considerable sum meticulously converting this standard 911S into an iconic 2.7 RS homage car with ATELIER RS 73

This conversion was carried out to a high standard and as the receipt shows – no expense was spared.

There are two further receipts for 1998 & 2000, both FROM Jean Buser ,France for injection system components , St/St exhaust and SSI’s

It is registered as an Irish Car . Receipts for minor work are available for 2004 , the major work being undertaken in 2007 ,

In fact in mid 2010 the car was Dyno tested on an WRC approved rolling road and recorded over 210 bhp ,body wise the car is in excellent condition, with no apparent rot in all the main structural places, under the battery tray, B Posts and rear torsion bar mounts.

In 2010 the current owner got the LHS sill repaired and has receipts for a Kidney Bowl , door jamb and jack tube – all professionally welded

A few tiny scratches on paintwork could be addressed if that bothers the next owner, and there is minor electrical work to the rear lighting housing.

This car is not a mint condition matching numbers collectors car , but is a rare opportunity for the discerning enthusiast to acquire a genuine 911S

Given the rarity and prices of any early S in any condition, at € 45,000.00 or $60,500.00 USD this car is realistically priced – they literally don’t make them anymore !

Car is available for any inspection in Cork Ireland,
