Best 2000-04 boxster s exhaust system?

Good morning,
I also have a WTB ad on Cars for Sale, just trying to do my research now.

I need your help! Which after market exhaust system do you recommend for the above years? Horsepower and sound quality? I know Pelican markets the MaxFlo and I'm sure it must be OK but, I think it's a little pricey. Several years ago I had a 2000 "S" with a Borla and I liked it but, didn't think to do a dyno comparison.

I know the '03 & '04 have more HP and better sounding exhaust but, I think my budget is more '00 & '01.

While I have you, any thoughts on the best intake w/K&N (Evo?) and best ECU (GIAC?) I know ECU remapping doesn't make a lot of difference on normally aspirated engines but, a little more mid-range would be welcomed.

I have a Borla on my 2004 S. Not much change from stock. I heard another one with Borla, headers, and cat delete and it sounded great.

Thanks for the input, Walt. I might look at header too but, I can't delete cats in California.
