"Estimated 100hp increase"

Here's an ebay howler for your amusement:

Porsche : 911 Porsche : 911 - eBay (item 110860561508 end time Apr-19-12 12:53:44 PDT)

Let's play spot the issues... 1979 "Carrera" with "2.7"...

My favorite part is the list of engine work done that results in the "estimated" 100hp increase (to 272hp)... check it out for yourself...

Cheers

d.

The car is very pretty. But unless there's an NOS system hidden in there somewhere, I think he's about 65HP high on the estimate (or high on something).

I usually like the idea of " backdating" an SC to look like an earlier car in most respects EXCEPT replacing the almost bulletproof 3.0 l SC engine with the POS 2.7 about 100 hp less would be my estimate
