I am constantly astounded when someone with 2 posts comes on a specialists website and tries to sell his/her rare paint colored, custom interiored, flared, lowered, special wheeled, V-8 inline six, slant nose modified, Whale Tailed, two hundred and twenty thousand mile RS Carrera 2 that started life as a '69 912 for a Kajillion dollars?

What's up with that?

No offense to newbie sellers but generally guys around here could school you on what you actually have and aren't a bunch of wealthy Tards lined up with buckets O money to lavish on anything with a Porsche moniker.

With no VIN (and a close inspection) there's no telling what that really is. Could be a '75 Turbo Carrera that someone did a DP conversion on for all we know. Could be a factory steel slant nose. Could be a total barnfind jackpot or could be like the similar looking 1968 912 I came across a few years ago that wasn't worth the $2000 asking price.
