Could someone let me know from what type of Porsche this is from?

I don't know about RS60 (that's a possibility) but it isn't 356 / 616 as the redline is too high for a pushrod motor.
Look for a Pelican named "Grady" from Colorado, he will know for sure.

If you tilt it up and look towards the top between the 40 and the 50 do you see a part number?
My guess is that it came from something that was powered by a 4 cam. Could even be from a 904.

Based on the lack of a part number and the fact that it looks much smaller than a traditional Porsche tach I am not sure it is actually a Porsche part. I did some GIS looking and pretty much didn't find any Porsches with tachs that matched the green and red zones on yours with respect to RPM. I could be mistaken, but I am guessing it is from something other than a Porsche.

I would call North Hollywood Speedometer and talk to/send a picture to Kevin or Hartmut.
They would DEFINITELY be able to tell you. (818) 761-5136 |
