Say what you want, it appears that someone went to a lot of work, and the craftsmanship looks well done. Arguably the project might be miss-directed, but that's in the eyes of the beholder...

Definitely isn't false advertising when it says "rare 959 replica".

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

Nice! Looks like the Stuttgart Batmobile! That is a whole lot of bodywork for that VW type 1 motor to be dragging around...

Ed, if you are thinking of getting it as your new track rat, I'll go down with you. I can take lots of pics of you in it to show off to the other Pelicans.

Doesn't look too bad, what really kills is is the 959 stitching on the head rest and the early style grills in the rear...

yeah someone spent a lot of time to make this their special car, You can't knock that because of different taste.

at least is doesn't look as bad as a Gemballa avalanche or other current import inspired "tuned" body kits

Wicked!

Not my taste but seems well executed.

Ali G. is in Da House.

At $16,500 it might be a good buy. It sure would be nice to know what the chassis is though.

what was it?!

i never have cared for th elooks of the 959. change the front bumper and maybe......just maybe it has some hope. for that matter, i never have liked the rear of the 959. it looks like it sticks out too far.

i liked the pic looking down at the front. the paint/color looks interesting.

hahaha John...

we buy it and take her out to the ridge for a photo shoot...as stated above, we'll need a batman costume!

agreed, nice "work" but the resulting car has to be one of the ugliest final products
