Price for a decent hood (long)?

What's the going rate for an original good condition 73 style hood? One that needs paint but nothing else?

count on spending $20K and up nowadays for a decent car that "just needs paint"
however they usually need more than just that...

Sorry guys, just looking for the going rate on a hood, not the whole car. Thanks.

A few hundred bucks. Might be worth more to a local buyer but with a $100-200 shipping bill attached to it, not many people will want to ship one or pay for the freight.

I shipped a rear decklid a few years back and will never ship body parts again. The buyer was a total douchebag claiming that I totally overcharged him on the freight and threatened to thrash on my Ebay seller's rating over it. I ended up giving the guy $50 back even though I hadn't marked up the freight at all over my actual cost. In the end, I got less than $100 for a near perfect '66 rear decklid.

Matt a similar thing happened to me over shipping. Must be a scam we should all look out for.
