as a 69-73 911e for under 40k in good unmolested condition.
Ive been searching diligently for a week or so and most are 45k + :confused:

$40k for a decent E coupe is on the lower side. Asking prices for E's have climbed as S's have gone through the stratosphere. They are still a bargain under $50k for a good car IMO.

they all are about 45k - 65k depending on levels of originality etc etc
Im starting to think that potential sellers are hanging on to them to maximize the sell price....

These cars are easy to find in the mid 20's, there is a silver coupe (albeit non matching) floating around for low 20's. I just sold my 69 targa and coupe for mid 20's, both rust free nice matching drivers and they took a while to sell. Do a current and past search on ebay to get a better idea of the market. Prices are only falling at the mo.

Repainting it to the original silver will be no small task.
