Good original paint except for rear panel and engine lid. 141,000 miles, current engine unknown http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1352049810.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1352049898.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1352049989.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1352050070.jpg Thanks, |
Man, with the current market I would say that $15k wouldn't be too out of line, especially since it comes with the original motor. It has a Blue Plate which is nice, and it looks clean. I would not restore it but clean it up really well and treat the rust in those places. It looks like one of those dignified driver quality T's that everyone wants - and it looks nice. I even like the color...I would buy it and clean it up and drive it. They don't come up often like this in CA anymore....

By looking at it and thinking about it more, you should make the sacrifice and sell things if you need to to get this one. They really don't come up like this, and you will be sorry if you don't get it. Or maybe you are selling?

Great car! You don't see these in this condition very often. I sold a very similar car earlier this year with tons of rust and had been sitting for 20 plus years for $14k. I would bet that you will see over $30k from an overseas buyer. S options, original condition, numbers matching engine included, US only MFI, non sunroof, and it's a 72....sounds like a winner to me.

I agree with techweenie - $20k to $25k seems fair if the body is straight with the minor rust, a no wreck history (good original paint!), and it runs/drives.
The high mileage probably precludes a silly high price (a bonus IMO). Ivory over brown is a really nice combo, + a few thousand or so I'd say. |
