Reference Checks - PPI
 

Hi,

Quick question (as I couldn't find anything blatantly obvious using Search) - what's the correct way to ask for reference checks on a shop to do a PPI?

The car I'm looking at is at the shop the owner has been having it serviced at the last 4 years - nothing wrong with it - that's just where it is as the owner has business commitments and no time to field the inquiries. I'd like to ask about that particular shop located in PA.

Why temp the fates, get a second shop to do the PPI. Have the seller take the car there, if he "does not have time" then walk. When buying a car from a distance, transparency is always the best.
