Cosmopolitan motors

Anyone heard/know anything about this Seattle based company?
Reason is I've been contacted by them about the possible purchase of my RS impostor.

Any light that can be shed would be appreciated
Tom

My friend used to work near Cosmopolitan Motors. We'd go walk around and ogle all the cool cars. There was a bugatti, a fiat abarth, lots of alphas and lancias.

The guy is a real wheeler dealer.

Tom, maybe they used you to make a lowball offer on your car to take a trip to Hawaii. They then deducted their expenses, business trip, a free/tax deductible vacation. Steve

Ok, here's my cosmopolitan story:

There was a seattle area dot-com guy that had his Dodge Viper given a flame-job by a popular creator of hawiian mall art. Cost $150k or something silly. Dot-com company went bust and his net worth tanked, had to sell the car. I am in the store when Cosmopolitan was negotiating: "Yeah... please don't take this personally... yeah... but most people that want dodge vipers don't want dolphins on the hood. Yeah.. yeah.. I know.. yeah... but thats just how the market is..."

Ended up offering him the price of a new viper MINUS the cost of a new paint job.

A few months later I saw the car in the window at cosmopolitan. NICE flames, best I've ever seen - they looked real from some angles. Patch of blue with dolphins looked kinda strange.

Looked it up and found the car!

$170,000 Meteorite Viper by Christian Lassen

Those poor dolphins, eyes twinkling in the sunset, surrounded by realistic flames. Too bad they're not evil black flame dolphins being chased by X-Wings.

I've had several interested parties look at the car but so far no bites. Seems like everyone is looking for a 100% accurate replication of an 73 RS for less than $20k.
