Will be on the market soon.

A very reputable Porsche machinist estimated $3k.

Ideas?

I would say half that at $1.5K....but if I had the car that it went to I would for sure pay $3k.

It's a 901/36 case. The engine number has been welded over... Which is weird.

That is going to severely impact the value of it. Maybe $1000 if it is just the case. But even that may be a bit high.
