Porsche had best year ever in 2012
Just read this article in "Exhaust Notes" about more people buying exotic cars. The thing about Porsche is that the Cayenne is now the highest selling Porsche and the Pacific Asian region is one of the largest growth area. I can attest that I see more and more Porsche in China, Taiwan and Japan than I have ever seen before, but they are more Cayenne and Panamera models and not 911s.

Porsche has been struggling for the past 2 years to promote its sports car heritage in light of the popularity of its 4-door models.
I find that hugely ironic. But perhaps it was inevitable following their retreat from corporate team competition in many series.
