911 2.7S in Copenhagen
Went to see this 2.7 with a mighty hefty pricetag of 250.000 DKK - about 40.000 USD - I thought that it had to be "like new".
The car looked nice on the photos though, but it was a piece of oil dripping crap. The seller told me over the phone that it was bone dry and well cared for by the PO who bought the car from new when he was the Danish Consul in the US. Lagerlisten med alle vores eksklusive luksus biler In Denmark we have this crazy registration tax on cars of 180% - but cars that are more than 35 years of age are not subject to this socialist scam - hence they demand a little premium to the price, but 250K....WOW! I am beginning to appreciate my own SC more and more each day - even though it is sitting in the garage with the engine and tranny out. Have a nice weekend all! A nice and fully restored E with minor restoration flaws - 600.000 DKK - 100K USD.
Porsche 911 2,4 E - Porsche Danmark Take a look at the prices of the other Porsches - then you get the idea about the 180% tax - mind you some of the cars are without tax - hence the "low" price
