Boxster Roller value
Whats the value of a '99 Boxster Roller in otherwise good condition? Looking for project cars for my kids they can work on and have ready when they turn 16.

Anywhere between 2 and 5k depending on mileage, stuff it has, what it's missing, how long it's been inop, ect.
With around 100k miles it should be about $3500. FWIW around here at least it would be much more cost effective and probably much less of a headache to start with a running driving boxster for about $6500. |

Thanks for the info. Yes, I know it is easier and maybe cheaper to get one complete, but one rule I have for the boys is they can't buy a running car. I believe when they have their own time and money in the car, they will drive safer.

How about finding a running car, meet privately with the owner, do the deal, then remove a few engine parts and show it to your kids as a "non-running" car? Wink wink!

This is great...just get a clean boxster that already has the shaft bearing done and remove a coil pack or two.
