1970 911T Targa or 1971 911E Targa?

I have 2 project cars.

1970 911T Targa in conda green
1971 911E Targa in light yellow

The T is almost ready for paint and I had planned on taking it to the painters this month.
The E hasnt really been touched yet and needs a LOT of welding. Floors, front pan, rockers, etc...

The original plan was to finish the T, drive it around while I finish the E, then sell the T.
But financially, I will probably break even on the T at best after a LOT of work.
Now I am thinking of working on the E and selling the T as is, or storing for a while then sell.
I would probably break even without putting all the work in.
Plus I can scavenge any parts I need off the T while I still have it.

What would you do?

Depends. I'm going to throw the value of the cars out the window. Is the E going to be worth more than the T when they are done? Sure.

But here's the root question for you. Which do you enjoy more, working on the restoration or driving the car? If it is the former sell the T and get to work on the E. If it is the latter, sell the E in the currently insane market and start driving your T as soon as you can.
