Is this badge worth anything as is or should I refinish it?

Don't refinish it. It's worth more as is than refisnished for sure. If you want a new badge, you can sell this one. It is referred to as an "orange bar" hood emblem if you want to get some price comps. -- Matt

I saw an orange bar badge in the for sale section. Asking price was 250. YMMV.
I dig vintage badges, something very cool about them.

I have 2 of them in better shape than that one. I was thinking of having them refinished but now I don't think I will after reading this.
