We are currently in a time of rising air cooled 911 prices, no doubt.
That applies to ALL air-cooled. Some more than others, but they are all currently going up, and I think at an unprecedented, historical rate. IMO a lot of it has to do with inflation. The price of everything is going up, but a lot of that is the value of currency going down. That has actually lead to fairly rapid rises in many sports cars and collectible cars, not just aircooled 911s. Very rapid price/sales over the past 6 months, for sure. |

Just got an email from the gent who "sold" his 77 on ebay for $13k... two high bidders backed out.. WEAK WEAK WEAK.

just want to put an exclamation on something Matt said yesterday. I sold my '74 s Targa right in the range that he spoke about. My car was rust free, with just about flawless paint featuring a recent engine reseal with new studs. The only really thing wrong with it was the dash which was cracked in the usual multiple places.

I've decided to list my car. Its on CL, will go on here and various sites.. Will go on ebay Sunday..
