Porsche 911 roadster Bertone/giugiaro:Is it out there?

Maybe 20 years ago I saw a maroon Porsche roadster, I think built on a 911 chassis by Bertone, to a design by Giugiaro. This was in SoCal. I believe it was built at the behest of the California Porsche distributor (Otto Zipper?) so not really a Porsche initiated project. I think the distributor wanted to create demand so Porsche would order some from Bertone. I'd like to know

-can anybody please post a magazine article on it?
-what's the lowest this car got on the used car ads?
-has it been restored, how come we don't see it?
-what do you think its present value is, considering other one offs by Giugiaro like the Aston martin DB4GTZ recently went for several million
