arch trim reproduction... as good as original?
 

I have a project restoration 73.5 911 Targa that has worn and pitted fender arch trim. Is it worth ordering a set of reproductions for about $200? Has anyone compared these to the originals?

I have not seen any but from the quality of reproduction stuff I have purchased I doubt it is as good. I purchased a good set from a swap for 60.00 and it came with some original wear attached and looks like it belongs to a 42 year old car.
