Wayne's ex-82SC coupé has an interesting history
I was going through paperwork on my 82SC coupé I bought last year which the P.O. advertised as the 911 car Wayne used as his subject for demonstrating upgrades and repairs from his "101 Projects" book.
Included with the original owners manual was the original ownership card the Porsche factory issues to all new owners. It included the name and address of the first owner of the car. I googled the name and guess what came up? The biggest smuggler of weed in the history of the USA! Drug Lord? Impossible. Not Him. He Had It All. - New York Times If I ever get pulled over, i can always say it wasn't mine and it must have belonged to the previous owner ;-) The car's name is now officially "Bunky".... Way cool!
I wonder what "treasures" Wayne found during his work on the car!? I have always wondered how he got money for that 959
