$10k plaid fabric
Ok since plaid front seats are adding some serious value to cars these days I have a question. When they came from the factory was it only applied to the front seats or should the door panels inserts and rear seats also be done???
I love the look but bringing big premiums. I always said buy the oddest color combos as they stick out and real collectors jump on them. |

Seems on longhoods you can get away w/ just seats. Real money on G Series cars is the complete interior.

My 1979 all original California Targa was a German delivery car picked up by the dealer himself. It has plaid front seat inserts but no plaid or cloth anywhere else. I understand plaid or cloth seats were more common for German Porsches than US Porsches.

Also popular in OH back in the day. Sonderwunsche Dept nicknamed it the "Full Cleveland" with matching white belt and loafers.

My 77 had Tartan (plaid) inserts on front and rear seats and on the door panels.
