I saw that car in the classifieds and was thinking the same thing about the engine.
Did they just pull all the CIS system off the 2.7L and put it on a 3.2L ?
Lots of questionables on that car. Even more so with a $10k price difference on two ads.
I've posted cars up for differing prices, but that is significant.
Good looking car though.

And what this about a transferrable RI registration, no Title, and then not having current registration or tags...very confusing. And last I checked, RI is NOT a non title state. And the car is in Brooklyn....

"original color not known". hmm. Seems a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche could help here. Or looking for the color code panel (assuming not removed or painted over).

Windshield "seal needs to be replaced, but doesn't leak".. sure... doesn't leak till it gets wet

3.2 or 2.7, No title? really? How about going down to RI DMV and getting a replacement title, no? Mirrors are wrong for the car.

This car sounds like a hot mess. Sounds like someone trying to cash in on the "Carrera" price rush. $25-35K for a US spec, non numbers matching, repainted, no title 911 that was not much more than a trim package in 1975?

Rhode Island is truly one of the states that doesn't typically issue titles for vehicles of this age, I'll give the seller that. However, I do think it'll need to be registered by the seller first in order to transfer to a buyer.

Engine looks to have a red shroud. Wouldn't that be 3.0. Maybe it's been worked to a 3.2.
