The only "fix-it" that will last for any substantial length of time (unlike both Matt M. and Matt R. in the sack, so I hear ) is crowbar-to-wallet and replace it (the oiling it shat is a short-term repair).

Yeah, she said "hi" last time I saw her. The other stuff she said I won't repeat in a family forum. Yes, I have a used spare that I'm going to clean, oil and replace the brushes on. And we'll see how long it lasts. I think I have seen some folks do some surprising mods using non-Porsche parts for this application, which I may also attempt if I get pissed off enough.
