What does a 3.2/915 go for these days?

I've got a project '71 911 that's missing most of it's original parts, including engine. I'm starting to do research on swapping in a 3.2 & 915 from a 1984-86 911.

What should I expect to pay for a good running 3.2 & 915?

Thanks

$5-8.

Budget extra for additional oil cooling - you'll want to run lines for a front cooler. You'll also need plumbing for fuel injection. And maybe upgraded brakes. That's more of an optional thing, but the brakes on a 1971 weren't designed to slow the car from the speeds that the 3.2 will get you to.

Really depends on usage. If it's a street rod that never breaks 100mph, who cares. Track car, most definitely.
