1976 911 3 speed

As of my other post the car I was trying to get didn't go well seller wasn't willing to show the car properly
I came across a 76 coupe with only 75000 kilometres post says its a sportmatic 3 speed no clutch
It was a California car now in canada any ideas on a price I should offer if it's in good condition
Also is it still gonna be fun on a 3 speed

Starting in 1974 or 1975 the sportomatics became 3 speeds (925/xx ???). Possibly with the start of the 2.7 liter motors.

I would try and find a local PCA club to get a reference to a good mechanic to do a PPI (pre purchase inspection). The PPI is very important, repairs can add up FAST.

That's a neat car but personally wouldn't want it was my only Porsche. The 3 spd is kind of a buzzkill. Makes it unique but not likely collectible long term. I think the seller is going to struggle to sell it anywhere near appraised value. Without pictures and engine history I'm going to put it around a $10k car. Bet the seller thinks otherwise.

If it's worth that much to the owner, let HIM keep it. For 18 large, you can do MUCH better than that!

Sounds like it's not really a fun car I think they would drop it to 12000 but I rather get a sc or a 3.2

I'll keep searching thanks
