A rising tide lifts all boats.

$22k is a lot for this car, for sure. I'm thinking more like $14-17k. |

Mike, just speculating, but would say that turbo goes very quick. Very nice car.

Maybe the owner is putting too much stock in the claimed (but unverifiable) sub-60k mileage. Which is ridiculous from the look of the car. ![]() GLWS. I think $14-16k is more the mark. Maybe a hair more since it has had a top-end, and the owner claims to have the interior & other removed components come with the car to put it closer to stock.

There's a rusty '75 Targa that just popped up here for $23K. I think some people are imagining the tide is a tsunami.

I was just about to post that '75.
I actually know the SC in question. It's a good little car and am surprised to see Adam selling it. He could maximize his price if he put the interior back together. There were questions about the mileage before he bought. I think they are real but there is no proof, which means you can't capitalize on their value. It's a good car for a risk taker and I don't think it would bite you. But not at $22k. Maybe 20% off asking. |

It's going to need more than a rising tide to lift that boat.

The car has potential, but needs a lot cosmetically.
Even if the mileage can be verified, the car was not treated well. Cars with 4 times that mileage and no paint work look better. I'm in agreement at $12-$15k. Somebody will probably go $17k since the market is so hot. I wouldn't.

That was my thinking on the pricing. I agree that $13-15k is about the right range. |
