Because it gives you plenty of time to change the oils, bleed the brakes, change the pads and do any other minor tuneup and tweak items you need to do so that it's ready for Spring. /Devils Advocate :D

Yeah, why not? I bought mine in the fall for a couple reasons, definitely one of them being what you stated. That and it was what I felt was one of the last chances at a fair price on a 3.2, fully expecting for whatever reason that it would cost more in the spring for the same car. Not in the sense of a cyclical pattern through the year, but the seemingly relentless increase in price as they get older.

I consider myself the world's worst mechanic but c'mon, are pads, rotors, oil, and brake fluid really taking you guys longer than a 4 pack of beer?

Probably, I get slower with each one. My fan belt took me almost a week.

I've got a two year old. I also just bought a farm with 3 acres and lots of projects. These days I'm the Vin Diesel of auto mechanics. I turn my wrench ten minutes at a time.

I saw this ad last night and thought the same exact thing. I can see this car selling in a heartbeat.

It sold to 2nd buyer that inquired, the first was a dealer. Received deposit, allowed buyer to have a PPI done. Great buyer, very quick and easy transaction.

Asking price seemed to be spot on..

Count me wrong on this one.
I though the car would never sell at that price.
Congrats on the sale.

Not the first $30k Carrera this week you were wrong on. Not even the second...SmileWavy
