Hmm, anyone ever thought about one of these?

Looks interesting. Price, plus 912 motor - excellent 930 territory. |

I saw this a while back, so cool!
The guy is amazing, building them out of his barn. I wonder if there is a way to cram a 911 motor in one..... Actually seems like a pretty good value given all the labor that goes into one. |

The car weighs 1k lbs. dry. It does not need a 911 engine, unless you are trying to drastically increase its weight.
Have you ever ridden a motorcycle? Maybe a fast snowmobile? Same idea. |

For the money, I'd prefer a Beck 904

Yeah Speeder,
I professionally road raced motorcycles for over a decade... I know a little bit about power to weight ratio's.... A decent race bike these days weighs in at 365 lbs and makes about 200hp, 1.8 lbs per hp. If you put a 200 hp 3.00 in this it it would be 5.5 lbs per hp. Not insane but fun for sure. A 911 motor is less than 200 lbs heavier than a 912 motor, and given where it's located I'm sure it would handle just fine. |

They look really, really cool. I'd love to see one in person and if I were a "money no object" person, I would certainly consider one.
The seller says "serious inquiries only please" so I'm not going to bother him but I'd love to know if they are easy to register for street use.

It looks like a "clown car" - would expect to see one of those Shriners dudes behind the wheel!

Yes, the Beck is a rep. Look at how much wider the flares are. And the floor isn't fiberglass. I've sat in the car I posted. Hard to tell it wasn't made in Germany.

My Beck will have a 3.6. Should be ready for delivery this summer.

Matt, I started this thread. Not a lot to show, yet, but it's coming!
