Hey members, New member here to share a Pic of his first Porsche, after 4 months, a hundred emails and calls to a from sellers. I found a Nice car. I had to stay true to my budget giving there are so many nice 911,s out there but prices are elevated now as you know. 88K on the odometer I hope I have several fun years of driving.

mpi, welcome to the forum.

Since you bought your car recently, it would be interesting to hear about your buying experience -- for the car you bought, and those you didn't.

How did you find find your car? Would you be willing to share the price you paid? (no issue if you'd prefer not to!)

It's a great looking car. I love silver.

Welcome MPI... great looking car and hope it treats you well.

It is nice to see people post on the marketplace forum who are actually buying (or owning) cars and not just yapping about it. I too would like to hear about your buying experience if you were to share.

I tried to buy another car a couple months back and it fell apart with a PPI that the seller wouldn't acknowledge as having any factual value... despite being from a shop he recommended. Two cylinders had leakdowns of @70% and he offered a reduction of $1,000 on price. I got my deposit back and walked away.

Great looking SC. What are all the pictures of?

What color is it, Zermat, Platinum or Silver?

If blau911 tells you that it is purple, then just learn to accept and love the color

By the way. Did you see if you have chrome behind the black window trim? Would look good to bring it back to match the trim on the rear window, imo.

And if ChristianD from Denmark tells you that you paid too much, or that your car isn't as special as another car he read about in a book he bought last week, don't pay attention. He is the self anointed Porsche Marketplace maven here on the pelican Parts Board.
Good luck with your car. It looks like a nice one.

I've looked on all the online sites, Cars.com, Cars for sale, hemming's, excellence, eBay etc. etc.. Not a Row car , Yes its silver, but does have a few blemishes that I will live with for now. Silver seems like a tough color to find, for every 5 cars I looked at 4 were guards Red. Fuchs wheels are real nice on new Dunlop's and I have original deck lid also..My prority was to find a lower mileage car under $21K

Good running SC coupe, 88k miles, new tires on Fuchs, plus a flat rear deck -- under $21k…I'd say you got a great deal!

Very nice find.

And I'm loving the silver. Is the interior black or burgundy?

Great car!

Congrats. I know your feeling about the search. It took me about 4 months to find my SC.

Enjoy and keep us updated.
