So what do you want to know about it? Are you looking for purchasing advice, trying to pimp yer car, or just bragging about it?

Yes, that's my car and I am the owner. Astara is selling the car on cosignment. i said the car is in The Netherlands...

Please tell me what did i wrong?

I prefer to sell outsite the EU. If I sell to someone within the EU i have to pay 21% VAT.

There are a few guys from Germany who want to pay € 22.500 including VAT but i refused.

Nothing...I think you misunderstood - but from the mobile ad you appeared to be a dealer. You also post the car in the for sale section, right? Good luck with the sale anyway.

What's with the internet police jumping down some guy's throat because he might be a dealer?? Who gives a flying ****?

The only thing that matters is what the merchandise is and how much it costs. I've sat back and laughed over the years here at people missing out on some great cars and deals because they don't have a clue how to buy a stupid car.

I don't know about the dealer/non dealer thing.

But I do know that car has entirely too much yellow on it.

Those wheels...wow.

^^^this.

I have no idea if it's a fair price or not - I don't know anything about the 968 or the 968 market.

But if it were a 928, I might give it a little harder look. I've been thinking about one lately...

968 CS's in my opinion are fantastic cars. No matter if one wants to drive slowly, in traffic, long distance, fast on track, sun, rain, a 968 CS feels always right.

Couldn't OP sell car privately without VAT in Europe? Yes? No? At 21% VAT from asking price is nearly 5,000 euros, which is significant amount at that price level.

Asking price is not expensive in Europe, with the spec this CS seems almost cheap.. hope it stays where it was made to be, near homeland, Autobahn, no speed limit.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but every time I follow a thread where a certain Dane participates, he always seems to p.o. someone - sometimes more than one...
I had a run in with him myself last month. It seems that a few persons on the Porsche Marketplace forum have a need to spout off regularly on something (or in this case, someone) without really knowing what he is talking about. Then, when someone takes offense at his comments, he responds with some attempt at good natured ribbing, and a feigned surprise that the person could somehow feel insulted.
Sadly, these persons only serve to reduce the good feeling and camraderie among users on the pelican board, Perhaps as these cars increase in value, more and more dubious persons seem to be more focused on pontificating about values and playing the market, rather than enjoying and learning more about the cars themselves.
