A friend just called and told me about this car at a local car dealer.I haven't even seen it and have no affiliation at all with it.But if any one is interested I will run over and snap a couple of pics.It is red/tan/black top.Ask is $12,900.

Sorry it was raining.Car is fair,98k acccording to owner,slight rust at windshield post,has been sitting.Hard to start/but runs fine when started,according to him.I did not start or obviously drive it.

Looks "used" but original and honest. Nice seats. If it drives and has no major flaws your friends dealer will unload it VERY quickly.

Car was bought new in Naples fl. 2nd owner Lakeland.Dealer has owned it personally for over 3 years.Don't know why it would have a salvage title.Might look into it further.Says it has a clean carfax,though vin #'s for 1983 might be incomplete.

Dealer should change the price to $19k
It will sell twice as fast at that price.

Test drive. It may well take a few years to be able to test drive a few local ones.

Why did it take over 7 months to close that deal?

Most of the posts have been this bitter winter.
No local cars for sale.
Still need to see if 911's are worth the 100% premium over WRX and M5.
Or if Speeder is right when he says minivans handle better and are more powerful.

...its got a salvage title. I sure wouldn't buy it; wouldn't care what documentation they have. They're never right after the insurance company is done with them.
Keep looking, lots out there. The more you look at the better educated you'll be when you find a good one at your price. RUN! This isn't it!
