Same guy with multiple user name sellig on Pelican.

Just thought I share, many of you might already know.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/803283-porsche-912-1967-5400-a.html

This place looks just like George's shop(AIR) , who still advertises 79 petrol blue SC (PCA)for sale. Even though few potential buyers (my self included) found out that the car is Piece of junk (words from the mechanic who did the PPI).

Is this allowed in Pelican or just a deceptive advertisement?

Happy Easter weekend.

I think it may just be stored at his shop. I tried to arrange an in person inspection of the car two weeks ago when I was in socal. was told shop where he has storage only open weekdays and he couldn't get in on a Saturday. Maybe he was telling the truth. Or maybe he knew if I saw the car up close I would publicly reveal something he doesn't was,on the internet. Either way, who sells are car and won't show it on a Saturday? Bizarre.

multiple user names?? I doubt that, this fellow is a full time dentist, he has hardly any time for multiple id's for selling. He's a stand up guy, I bought some parts without checking carefully and they were not what I needed (my fault for not spotting the differences) he promptly took them back a week later and refunded.

914agogo, maybe your right and its not the same guy. take a look at the pic below. this picture is for the 912 for sale. look at the background wall/ alley.

now here is the 79 Petrol Blue from sale by geshaghi (AIR). take a look at the background.

I have been to AIR/ geshaghi's shop. I recognized the shop set up. His white trailer is what really gave it away.

yes, maybe the seller has his car stored at AIR.
It seems like a coincidence that they both have shops in Van Nuys and live in West L.A. area. They very can be neighbors and have shops near each other, who sells and collects Porsche's.
Am I being paranoid, no. Just more alert, because of a bad experience I had.

I could be 100% wrong, if that's the case, I owe Kevin a huge apology. I just wanted to point out something that just didn't look right. I have learned lot of great info from this forum and also met few great minds. I feel as part of Porsche community, I need to do my part and share.

PPI was for 79 SC and not for 912 with out a engine and tranny.

Kenny

Kenny. I think it has been explain by my post and gogo's. Seller is a dentist who has his car stored at George's shop.
Good to question it but I think we have a answer.
