Here's a new data point- 996 with second engine at 60K despite a proactive fix.

yes maybe other factors came into play, and its just one case, but doesn't bode well....

i do feel sorry for this fellow.

The chances of a third blown motor would have to be astronomical.

But I don't think the rod bearing failure is related to the proactive fix?
