Surprised this car didn't sell immediately?
I am actually surprised this car didn't sell immediately. It's been listed for several days now. People are bidding but not pulling trigger instantly for $30k for a 108k G50 coupe? That means they think the final price will be significantly less then the buy it now..
Isn't that considered a screaming deal here? What are bidders seeing that is not being told? Or is the market softening? |

Today
Today ends in a "y."
Or does it?? |
No, yesterday does.
|
yes the market is definitely softening. I think it was caused buy some retard looking at ebay as the definitive bench mark as to what the market is on used cars. I also think that the recent price of oil going up is the direct result of someone spilling a gallon of ice cream in the middle east. Have you also checked the volatile prices on used butt plugs on ebay to see if you should wait to buy? I'm just curious as to why you ask the same question about the same thing every day.

Stuff
Is this the discussion about that discussion that discussed the discussion of the first discussion about that one car?
no it is not not that discussion Hmmmm |
Remember when I told you to buy this car for $24,000?

Why are people douchey on the internet? Because they can get away with it. |

pc100porsche and MrBonus FTW. PML poo-poos a car at $24k, and then a few days later suggests the "market is softening" because the dealer trying to flip the same car at ~$30k -- with only a wax job and some armor all -- hasn't sold it immediately. And PML can't even tell it is the same car! God's honest truth…this is why you should be focusing on what YOU want and not pontificating on the market while trying to advise new buyers. |

COLB,
I am aware it is the same car I was not interested in. And I am still not interested. In the $24k ad, there were a dozen issues that were listed. However, in the Ebay flipper's ad, nothing is mentioned. For the all buyer knows, he's getting a no stories G50 coupe. Nothing bad is said about the car. That is why I am surprised that no one is pulling the trigger at $30k for a 100k G50 coupe. It leads me to believe the market is softening. A $30k G50 coupe with no stories would have sold by now even just a month ago. |

Most of the Porsche buying public don't assume a car has "no stories" just because the dealer doesn't put them in his ad -- that is why the term caveat emptor exists. The issues on this car can be seen in the pictures. It was a pretty good buy at the original $24k ask. But you thought not -- largely inferring "history" issues with no real evidence to back it up. Now you think it should be flying off the interwebz at $30k because the car looks cleaner, and the dealer is even less forthcoming. That is pretty rich. |
If only there was a way to research a car before buying it. Sadly, this technology doesn't exist today.

Nobody ever asks questions on EBay before they hit "buy it now".
|
Yet another day, and still no one willing to pay $30k for a G50 coupe with under 110k.
