The add on flares remove value and there is often more rust than you think. But if thats the original color it's a plus. Is the car MFI or CIS ? Also I might be wrong but I thought the early C3s had the smaller mirror, not the flag style

$14k assuming "not much rust" really means only in the door. Looks like an aftermarket widebody conversion, poorly fitted front valance, incorrect mirrors, and wrong "Carrera" engine. Based on this, informed buyers will wonder what else is wrong. Interestingly, I bought a 1974 that someone had taken the body panels (fenders, doors, rockers, bumpers, wing) and interior from a 1987 turbo and added them. It still had the 2.7. It was worth about $12k a year ago.

I understand about the rust but the body is in pretty good shape compared to what I've seen on other forum cars that are just parts cars flag mirrors were changed when the kit got put on i'm assuming i have the smaller chrome mirror with other stuff

me thinks its an extra 4 in the VIN, the engine number is for a 74 normal or T, so my guess its not a US Carrera.

well its not for a purist, without more info and more pics Id say as a hotrod $15-16K but it lacks a hotrod motor.
its got tough looks but a whimpy motor. Put it on Ebay to find out what someone will pay is likely the best route to take.

be sure that 5th digit is a 4 and not a 1 that someone easily made a 4 out of the 1.
I know of 2 cars where this was done.
check all the alum plates but the bulkhead stamping is the more important one, alum plates are available new so too easy to dupe a newbie or a newfie if your in Canada
