1968 911T Targa Value in bad condition

Hi, I just saw these days a 911 T Targa 1968 in very bad condition, it have the original trans ( 4 speed) but the motor is a 2.4 L and is out of the car ( condition unknown) it have rear late flares, late bumper in the back and tail lamps, the front is original 68 with a rs bumper replica. Interior seat, fronts are in very good condition ( leather) they are the sport version?? with removable headrest??, targa is in decent condition. need carpets, paint all over, and also need to change the complete floors area do to rust and have rust in several spots. What would be the value of a car in this condition?, I put it from 1 to 10, a 3 condition.

In the current market it is impossible to tell. Without photos and going entirely by your description I would imagine about $5-7k (I paid $3k for a 69 912 that would otherwise fit your description a year ago) but they seem to be worth more and more by the day. If they really are sport seats the price would be higher. Photos would really help.

$2,000 tops........A few yrs ago, I paid $2K for a one owner 1969 T coupe....All stock, a little rust repair where the rear window seal leaked.....passenger floor and right rocker.......Run good, but needs paint and interior also......Your's has an incorrect engine, flares and more........JMO
